Funding:

This France Excellence doctoral scholarship grants beneficiaries the status of a French government scholarship holder. It includes:
- A monthly allowance (set at EUR 1,770 per month in 2025, with a flat-rate deduction if accommodation is provided);
- A round-trip flight and transport (train or bus) to the city of study;
- Health insurance and social security coverage;
- Support from Campus France in finding accommodation;
- Visa fee exemption (excluding Aramex fees);
- Exemption from university registration fees;
- Online French language courses offered by the Consulate General of France in Jerusalem prior to departure (subject to level availability).

Eligibility:

Eligibility Conditions:

- Be of Palestinian nationality and/or have completed studies at a Palestinian university (French nationals, including dual nationals, are not eligible);
- Have permanent residence in the West Bank, Jerusalem, or the Gaza Strip (persons in exile must justify their place of residence prior to departure);
- Hold or be in the final year of at least a Master’s degree (Bac +5);
- Have at least a B2 level in the language of the thesis (French or English);
- Have an admission or provisional pre-admission to an accredited French higher education institution with a doctoral school;
- Have a clear and well-structured academic project linked to a professional project.

Notes:

The scholarship does not cover:
- Transport to the departure airport;
- Any other costs related to the research project and stay in France.
