Dear colleagues,
In order to help ensure the continuity of education (and the awarding of degrees) in the
Gaza Strip – despite the circumstances –, we are compiling a list of proposals for the
supervision or management of internships or dissertations (Master's or PhDs) that can
be offered remotely by academics. All disciplines are eligible, provided that the
student's physical presence in the laboratory/university abroaad is not required.
The operating procedures of Palestinian universities are not necessarily the same as
ours. We therefore ask those offering supervision to be flexible (for example,
an internship that would be done here full-time for two months could be done there over
six months at a rate of one day per week). Supervision will be provided by email or video
conference at a frequency to be determined with the Palestinian team. English can generally be used.

If a candidate is interested, you will be contacted directly by our Palestinian partners and, if you accept, you can then finalise the practical details. Proposals that could potentially lead to publication are particularly welcome and important.
The file containing the proposals will be visible to Gaza universities but will not be
posted online. The URL will not be made public.
