Funding:
- Monthly Allowance:
- Research/Non-degree Students: ¥143,000.
- Master’s/Professional Students: ¥144,000.
- Doctoral Students: ¥145,000.
- Regional Allowance: An additional ¥2,000–¥3,000 per month may be added for specific regions.
- Tuition: Entrance fees, matriculation, and tuition fees are fully covered.
- Travel: Round-trip airfare to and from Japan is provided.
Eligibility:
- Academic Background:
- Master’s Program: Candidates must have graduated from a university (typically 16 years of schooling) or be in their final year.
- Doctoral Program: Candidates must have earned a Master’s degree or be in their final year of a master's program.
- Note: Applicants must have maintained a high academic standard, with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.30 on a 3.00 scale (or equivalent) for their most recent degree.
- Field of Study: Applicants should apply for the same field they majored in or a related field. The subject must be researchable in a Japanese graduate school.
- Japanese Language Skills: Applicants must be willing to learn Japanese, show interest in Japan, and intend to deepen their understanding of the country.

- You may begin researching Japanese universities, but do not contact any university at this stage.
