- Up to £3,500 towards the cost of your travel to the UK, Visa and NHS surcharge (for healthcare)
- 12 months of accommodation beginning in September 2026
- Full membership to The Edge, the University’s gym and sports centre.
Eligibility:
To apply for this scholarship you must meet all of the following criteria. You must:
- be a resident of Gaza or have been a resident of Gaza displaced from the region after the escalation of the conflict in October 2023
- not currently reside in the UK
- have already applied to study a course at the University of Leeds
- possess a valid travel document (normally a passport) accepted by UKVI for the purposes of applying for a student visa

The following postgraduate degrees are ineligible for this scholarship:
- Materials Science
- Physics (including Nuclear Physics)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering
- Chemical, Process and Energy Engineering
- Minerals Technology
- Materials Technology
- Any programme that is 100% online, taught by the Digital Education Service
Unfortunately, you cannot apply for this Scholarship for Foundation, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Research study.
